Mrkurtis Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 Hello, long-time user, first-time poster. I've previously been successful with Imgburn, but lately the product refuses to recognize an empty disk. I am using Memorex (8.5 gb) DVD+R DL. I've burned three games with this format, so I'm certain the disks are usable. Here is the session log: HL-DT-ST BDDVDRW CT21N 1.00 (ATAPI) Current Profile: DVD+RW Disc Information: Status: Unknown State of Last Session: Unknown Erasable: Unknown Formatted: Unknown Sessions: Unknown Sectors: 2,228,225 Size: 4,563,404,800 bytes Time: 495:11:50 (MM:SS:FF) Supported Write Speeds: 2.4x TOC Information: Session 1... In the past, I've been able to uninstall, then Reinstall Imgburn to work around this issue, yet today the same isn't true. Please help. Thanks in advance.
LIGHTNING UK! Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 Your drive is returning garbage, it's nothing to do with the application. If you eject and reinsert the disc a few times, I'm sure it'll eventually initialise it correctly and then the program will be able to work as it should do.
Mrkurtis Posted November 9, 2011 Author Posted November 9, 2011 Appreciate the help, but its still returning the same error hours later...
LIGHTNING UK! Posted November 9, 2011 Posted November 9, 2011 Then you should try with some other media.
