JorgeO Posted November 9, 2011 Posted November 9, 2011 (edited) Hello, I'm a long time ImgBurn user. Recently, when burning DVDs (I hardly burn CDs nowadays) the process freezes (writing speed falls from say 8X to zero and nothing else happens even if one waits for minutes). Buffers are full when this happens. After freeze, ImgBurn won't close, drive door won't open, if one ends ImgBurn using the task manager Win 7 64 becomes unstable, only way out is through a hard reset of the PC. Could this be related to a new batch of media (TYG02 locally rebranded) I've purchased? Defective LG GH20NS10 drive? Thanks for your help. ImgBurn.log Edited November 9, 2011 by JorgeO

Update ImgBurn to current version 2.5.6.0.
mmalves Posted November 9, 2011 Posted November 9, 2011 You could also look for updated drivers for your system's chipset / storage controllers (this website might help).
