prog_wael Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 When I put the DVD and begin burning it with an image file "*.iso", it started and finished successfully, but after 100%, the DVD ejected suddenly and a message say that it can't close the tray automatically. After I close it can't be read any more. And when clicking the drive to open the burned DVD a message says " Insert a disc. Please insert a disc in drive G: " and it ejected suddenly although the DVD is in. When I tried to put a new DVD or new CD in the drive it's opened successfully without any problem. The problem occurs when i burn a DVD ?
LIGHTNING UK! Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 Post the log of the burn+verify operation. ImgBurn tries to cycle the drive tray between the burn operation and verify one. If you have a slimline drive, you will have to push the tray back in manually. ImgBurn should then continue to verify the disc. If the drive fails to initialise the disc properly (common when using bad media or the drive is faulty), the program will cycle the tray again. It does this 3 times before giving up.
