kencity Posted November 27, 2011 Posted November 27, 2011 Hi, can somebody out there please help, new to this, can not get started, not doing anything to fancy, just trying to burn a converted avi file with subtitles,i am just about burn, but recieve an error message- unable to create or replace file, filename, directory name, or volume label syntex is incorrect.Dont understand,help please? LIGHTNING UK! Posted November 27, 2011 Posted November 27, 2011 and you've got a space after the '\' character. If you don't know how paths work in Windows, use the browse button rather than typing it in manually.

Thanks for replying,it worked, but the end result was not the one i was expecting, i got to write the image & burn to disc.I was trying to add subtitles ( srt ) to avi file, looked on internet and found programm AVI2DVD, used it to add subs & recoded ( long winded ) then used IMG to write & burn to disc, no joy, THANKS ANYWAY PS- whats the best way?
