Reborn Posted December 3, 2011 Share Posted December 3, 2011 I have an NEC DVD+RW ND-2100AD 1.26 (ATA) Yes, I know it's really old, but I don't have another one at the moment and I don't burn discs often enough to want to buy a new burner. I wanted to change booktype so that I could burn a DVD+R as a DVD-R. I followed Cynthia's guide but when I was downloading the files, I noticed that the ND-2100 doesn't have a patched booktype .bin file, just a fast.bin and a rpc1.bin. I managed to change it to ND-2500A using the NEC converter, but I'm unsure what this actually does or what to do next as I'm afraid of screwing something up. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
