Burn .m2ts file onto BD-R for play on PS3 help

SO I am trying to burn a .M2TS file I have of a blu-ray movie onto a BD-r for play on my PS3.

 

I just tried to make it with the "write files/folders to disc" and it burned fine. But when I put the disc in the PS3 it calls it a data disc and wont play the movie.

 

Im new to burning blu-rays. But do I need to do something different in IMGBURN to make a playable disc or do I have to convert the m2ts file into something else first??

 

ANy help would be appreciated

You need to make it into a proper Blu-ray video structure if the PS3 can't just play M2TS files.

 

You can use something like multiAVCHD for that (or go direct to tsMuxeR).
