Burning problem

I'm trying to burn a DVD DL but it's crashing right at the beginning (0%). The log is the following:

Try with the latest firmware installed on your drive http://www.firmwarehq.com/download_1790-file_HLDS_GSAT50L_SR09.zip.html

Also try burning at 4x and 6x.

 

You could also try cleaning the drive with a lens cleaning disc, or even manually if you know how to do it. The real problem is that slim burners are rubbish, especially when it comes to burning dual-layer media.
