Looked in FAQ but there was no mention of this specific DiscID. Searched forums and one suggestion says buy a new drive and new media and not use CD-RW. Doesn't really explain where this DiscID comes from and why. I can burn fine with these discs. Single session audio CDs, data files or ISO files have all been successful. I'm just curious about the DiscID and reasons behind the comments I saw. Brilliant program for several years now, thanks for that. The Disc ID on a CD is just a copy of the 'Start Time of LeadIn' value (which comes from the ATIP area on the disc). Every manufacturer/type uses a different value and that's how you can tell them apart and figure which manufacturer made them - in your case, CMC Magnetics Corp.
