Kenadjian Posted August 18, 2006 Posted August 18, 2006 What is the media you're using? Post the log, that should tell us.

LIGHTNING UK! Posted August 18, 2006 Posted August 18, 2006 Have a go burning some MCC (typically Verbatim) or TY (Taiyo Yuden) discs instead. Basically your drive is having problems writing to (the outer edge?) of those discs. I believe your firmware is up-to-date so that only leaves 'try different media' on the 'things to do' list.
Savage03 Posted August 19, 2006 Author Posted August 19, 2006 Thanks for the reply. Just figures, I usually buy verbatim but comp usa was out and had these on sale. Guess I will try to see if they will take em back.
kevdriver Posted August 19, 2006 Posted August 19, 2006 Good idea Savage, Media is so important in achieving a good and successful burn........
