bobbyd33 Posted December 29, 2011 Share Posted December 29, 2011 I bought a BD-RE disc to use to test burns so I would stop wasting bd-r discs when I mess up, I went to burn a avchd disc but it said I need to format the disc first. I did a google search and came across someone saying that I shouldn't use imgburn to format a bd-re disc. Anyone have issues with imgburn formatting, or know of what I should use to format a bd-re with Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
bobbyd33 Posted December 29, 2011 Author Share Posted December 29, 2011 I went ahead and started a full format with imgburn. I unchecked the format without spare areas box in settings. Its been about an 1 hour and 40 minutes and its not done yet, at 99% for most of that. Is this normal? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
LIGHTNING UK! Posted December 29, 2011 Share Posted December 29, 2011 I assume you know what unchecking that box actually does? The % stuff comes from the drive.
