ianymaty Posted January 3, 2012 Posted January 3, 2012 Try with the latest firmware http://www.firmwarehq.com/Lite-On/iHAS224%2BB/files.html Try all speeds available.
LIGHTNING UK! Posted January 3, 2012 Posted January 3, 2012 What controller have you attached the drive to? It looks like a general system/controller/driver issue - hence all the 'Potential Bogus Driver Error Detected!' messages.
pwncakes55 Posted January 5, 2012 Author Posted January 5, 2012 not sure... my friend put my PC together so i'm pretty noob when it comes to the hardware but i think you might be right, it makes sense because it only stopped working after he rebuilt my pc. how can i go about finding the issue and fixing it?
LIGHTNING UK! Posted January 5, 2012 Posted January 5, 2012 Right click the drive selection drop down box and select 'Family Tree'. Close the prompt that comes up and then copy + paste the family tree info from the log window.
pwncakes55 Posted January 6, 2012 Author Posted January 6, 2012 I 13:34:50 Family Tree: I 13:34:50 -> ACPI x64-based PC I 13:34:50 -> Microsoft ACPI-Compliant System I 13:34:50 -> PCI bus I 13:34:50 -> Intel® 5520/5500/X58 I/O Hub PCI Express Root Port 1 - 3408 (VEN_8086&DEV_3408 - Intel) I 13:34:50 -> Marvell 91xx SATA 6G Controller (VEN_1B4B&DEV_91A3 - Marvell) I 13:34:50 -> CD-ROM Drive (ATAPI iHAS224 B SCSI CdRom Device) (Bus Number 0, Target ID 0, LUN 0)
LIGHTNING UK! Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 Right, get the drive off the Marvell controller and onto a proper Intel port.
