ImgBurn I/O error-write error

Hi All. I'm new to burning movies from my hard drive to DVD's. I've researched the heck out of this to make sure I was doing everything correctly and I've read tons of posts on this site related to this topic and can't seem to resolve my problem. The frustrating part is that I've tried 3x to burn to a DVD (all different movies) and have not had even 1 success. This is my first time trying to do this, so of course, I feel like it's operator error. Now I need help from the professionals...

 

I'm using Sony DVD+R 4.7GB discs and I'm trying to do this using my laptop that was purchased in March 2011.

 

My questions are: How do I fix this problem? Is it the Sony discs I'm using? Is it a problem with my DVD/RAM?

 

Please note, I do not know what the drive F: is in the error message. As far as I know, I don't have a drive F: Also, I just updated to the newest version of Img Burn (2.5) after I read that a newer version was available.
