skagav Posted January 7, 2012 Author Posted January 7, 2012 What has this got to do with anything? well it would'nt let me reply in a post that was on this site when i found out people where having the same problem as me with this writer.was only trying to help people if they still had this problem.didn't know how to put it on site any other way.wont bother next time.
LIGHTNING UK! Posted January 7, 2012 Posted January 7, 2012 Which thread are you referring to? I'll move your post to the right place. Typically, a proper software DVD player (so that's something like PowerDVD) will set a new drive's (i.e. where no regional code has been set) regional code to the same as the disc's regional code. If the drive's regional code isn't set or mismatched to the disc, it's not normally possible to query the drive for the decryption key. My old program used to warn people about such issues when they were detected.
