Hello. I use Dvdfab and Imgburn to copy dvd movies to my computer and then Imgburn to burn movie to a blank dvd disc. But lately I am having a problem doing this. I keep getting an error pop up on Imgburn and have not been able to copy any movies now.

Pop up says this:

Cannot read from file:

C:\Users\jennifer\Documents\DVDFab\Temp\MainMovie\KILLER_ELITE\/\VIDEO_TS\VTS_01_3.VOB

Reason: The request could not be performed because of an I/O device error.

Can you please help me? I have never had this problem before and I do not know what happened that caused this to now happen to me.

Here is my log. Thank you for your help!!!! Jennifer jdowney2121@yahoo.com

There's something wrong with your hard drive.

Run chkdsk on it (from the command prompt) and have it scan for bad sectors ('chkdsk c: /r')

Put service pack 3 on for XP too.
