JenJen2121 Posted January 16, 2012 Posted January 16, 2012 Hello. I use Dvdfab and Imgburn to copy dvd movies to my computer and then Imgburn to burn movie to a blank dvd disc. But lately I am having a problem doing this. I keep getting an error pop up on Imgburn and have not been able to copy any movies now. Pop up says this: Cannot read from file: C:\Users\jennifer\Documents\DVDFab\Temp\MainMovie\KILLER_ELITE\/\VIDEO_TS\VTS_01_3.VOB Reason: The request could not be performed because of an I/O device error. Can you please help me? I have never had this problem before and I do not know what happened that caused this to now happen to me. Here is my log. Thank you for your help!!!! LIGHTNING UK! Posted January 16, 2012 Posted January 16, 2012 There's something wrong with your hard drive. Run chkdsk on it (from the command prompt) and have it scan for bad sectors ('chkdsk c: /r') Put service pack 3 on for XP too.
