cue file

When attempting to burn a cue file from a batch of MP3 files I constantly get a message stating" The entire file has been decoded to nothing but digital silence". I enclose as an attachment a screen grab of the message, I suspected something was amiss with these files when they would play on my computer but nowhere else which was the reason to try a cue file. I was given the files from a workmate but know nothing else about them.

Is this in Windows XP (or 2003)?

 

I believe there's a post in the FAQ that covers it - an updated directshow filter is required.

As you say, there must just be something not quite right with the files.

I have looked at the post you mention and it would seem to have some relevance to my problem, however my computer knowledge would not be good enough to act on it.I will have to write these files off as lost. Thank you for taking the trouble and trying to help,
