tasto2023 Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 Hi guys, I got the LG BH10LS30 on my pc with the following configutation: i5 760 2,80 Ghz+1 tera+ 4 Gb ram+ Nvidia GeForce gts-450+ Windows 7 Ultimate original and Img Burn as my only burning software. I used to burn BD-R Verbatim DL 50 GB 4x to burn BD ISO on my hard disk (internal). I really don't understand why with my BD-RE Sony 50 GB I can burn succeffully my BD ISO and with my BD-R Verbatim 5o GB not! When I tried to burn Verbatim 4x 50 gb abd even Mediarange Bd-r Dl 50 gb, after few second appers: POWER CALIBRATION AREA ERROR and when I tried twice: INVALID ADDRESS FOR WRITE I'm very angry about it, because I really don 't understand "where" I was wrong!!! I tried even formatting again all my OS and ristalling W7 Ultimate, but nothing. I think that the media I bought (bd-r dl 50gb Verbatim) from a Japanes site are bad and shitty!! some of you have any suggestions? any of you have never stumbled upon these errors? Some of you have this unlucky burner LG BH10LS30??? thank U in advance for your help tasto
LIGHTNING UK! Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 Please post the log - as per the instructions in the pink box up the top If you're doubting the Verbatim discs you purchased, get hold of some others locally (if possible).

LIGHTNING UK! Posted February 11, 2012 Posted February 11, 2012 That's a log from Nero. Please try again. The pink box tells you how to find the log. http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=14632 ImgBurn didn't fail, your drive did. All you do in such situations is buy different discs, try a different write speed, clean the drive, update the drive's firmware etc.

ImgBurn - burn failed at 2x.log
LIGHTNING UK! Posted February 11, 2012 Posted February 11, 2012 So you've tried burning them at 2x, 4x and 6x? If so then either the drive is faulty or the discs are.

Yes I tried to burn at 2x-4x not 6x cause I think the media doesn not support this speed.I think is the drive, not the media, as U said. next week I will contact the LG assistance here in Italy. The drive is faulty. the only thing I do not know is that if I have to bring the recorder I have to bring all my pc or should I remove it from the computer? Thank U for Your help. tasto
