taffinator Posted February 17, 2012 Posted February 17, 2012 Ok guys Ive used write image files to disk but my DVD player cant play it only my pc. The files are AVI and the DVD player is a phillips, I know it works because it played a disk after being burnt with nero. Does IMG do a multi format burn like nero or do I need different software to do it then add to the burn list, also could it be the way I lay out the multiple vids, do I need to merge them for it to play?
LIGHTNING UK! Posted February 17, 2012 Posted February 17, 2012 ImgBurn burns as-is. So if you're burning AVI files, you end up with AVI files on the disc. If your player doesn't support AVI files then obviously the disc won't play. If you want a proper DVD Video disc then you'll have to use another program to do that conversion (DVD Flick, ConvertXtoDVD etc) and then burn the output (a VIDEO_TS folder) with ImgBurn.
