I did update to Firmware of the drive and still does not help. LIGHTNING UK! Posted March 5, 2012 Share Posted March 5, 2012 If 2.4x isn't working on your drive, try one of the faster 'supported' speeds. I 14:16:55 Destination Media Supported Write Speeds: 2.4x, 4x, 6x, 8x, 10x If it fails at all of the supported speeds, try cleaning the drive with a cleaning disc and then try again. If it still fails, either your drive has had it and needs to be replaced or you've got a faulty batch of discs. Service Pack 1 is out for Windows 7 btw.
