Image Burn V2.5.6.0 with Windows 7 Home Premium Service Pak 1. Optical disk device = Plextor PX-LB950UE attached to PC via USB 3.0 and Rosewell PCIe card. Write data files on blu-ray disc. Verify write data. Disc is JVN-Tayo Yudin 6X.

Starts the write process and randomly fails fairly early in the write. Here is one error message:

Device (0:0:0) PLEXTOR BD-R PX-LB950UE 1.02 (01) (USB)

Scsi Status = 0x02

Interpretation = Check Conditions

CDB: AA 00 00 07 C7 60 00 00 00 20 40 00

Interpretation = Write (12) - Sectors = 509792 - 509823

Sense Area = all zeros

No additional sense information

For this example, the progress window shows 5%, write speed=2x, write retries=20.

All drivers and software up-to-date. Have run all the Plextor checking utilities and see nothing wrong between the utility applications and device. My question is, what is the failure data telling me?
