Install hte program and then right click on the iso file and select 7-Zip -> Extract to "your iso name".

In either case will the new ISO image be already compatible with the .mds file?

If another layer break is selected, no. Always better/safer to use the "new" .mds file that is created when you build something.

:) This step I knew. I simply thought you meant with split, 7-zip will create the proper ISO itself. I was a bit surprised. That's all.

Alright, I'll try it now.

Thanks for the support.

Ok, everything worked. Even with my TSSTcorp. drive (LIGHTNING UK! complained in a 2006 edit:thread about Samsung's bitsetting).

Ah right, helpful stuff always escapes my mind when I'm stuck.

At the moment I have Daemon Tools. Have you tried WinCDEmu? I always meant to try it but never came around to do it.

No. But it looks as it also should work very well.
