Simon88 Posted March 17, 2012 Posted March 17, 2012 (edited) I have some ISO images that are more than 4.3GB or so (7-8GB), so it is a dual layer ISO image. MDS files were not created during imaging, so is it still possible for ImgBurn to generate an "optimum" layer break from just the ISO and save it to an MDS file? The ISOs were not created by ImgBurn, originally. Thanks! Edited March 17, 2012 by Simon88
Simon88 Posted March 17, 2012 Author Posted March 17, 2012 (edited) What's in the ISO? DVD Video or something else? yes, they are some old dual-layered pressed DVD-Videos I had dumped onto ISOs many years ago. They play fine using VLC, but if it is burned, I'm afraid it won't have optimal layer breaks. I don't wish to re-author if that's possible. Thanx.. Edited March 17, 2012 by Simon88
Cynthia Posted March 18, 2012 Posted March 18, 2012 Mount the ISO with a virtual drive like http://www.dvdfab.com/virtual-drive.htm and then use the Build mode to build a new image/burn to disc and set a new layer break in that mode.
