DerekAntos Posted April 8, 2012 Posted April 8, 2012 (edited) Was a burning to a BD-25 and this happened. However it retried and still seemed to complete. Is this a problem, or will this disc still function properly? Hasn't done this to any other BD-25 I've done with files of the same size. Disregard the write speed miscompare. I always leave it on 2x and just let it go to whatever the lowest possible is for the disc I'm using. I also added and removed a folder in the beginning of the log I put x's for what I was burning. LIGHTNING UK! Posted April 8, 2012 Posted April 8, 2012 Any sort of error during the burn usually isn't a great sign. Update the firmware on your drive. http://www.firmwarehq.com/Lite-On/iHBS112%2B2/files.html 2x isn't a supported write speed and 4x might not be the optimal speed for 'RITEK-BR3-000' media. Do some Disc Quality/PIPO scans (using Opti Drive Control / DVDInfoPro) on the next few discs you burn and see what they come out like.

Or only on blank discs?
