Ashley1177 Posted April 11, 2012 Posted April 11, 2012 Hello, I am willing to copy some cds to give them to my boyfriend. I have seen this morning that you are wonderful but I have no idea how to start. I downloaded the software, did the settings, then I am sent to the website where I see no Copy, Burn or anything like that. I am sorry if my question is stupid. I have Win 7 Pro 64, and when I insert the cd in the drive, it starts playing with Window Media Player. Could you please tell me how to start using it? I would be very grateful. Thanks
LIGHTNING UK! Posted April 11, 2012 Posted April 11, 2012 We do have a 'Guides' section "How to copy a disc" http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=6380
Ashley1177 Posted April 11, 2012 Author Posted April 11, 2012 Thank you, Lightning, I had gone to Guides and FAQs... but I didn't know which one it could be . Actually, the sotware had not finished install, although I said "run".... It's not a vdery easy software to use, but NOW it works . I hope I will be able to go to the end of my task. Thank you
Ashley1177 Posted April 12, 2012 Author Posted April 12, 2012 Again... I can't finish the job. It's really not easy I went to Read and I THINK I read one cd (but I can't read 2?), and went to Write, I have no idea what happened. I saw 100% in Complete, but if I try to close the log or the other window, I get "are you sure you want to cancel". I am sure I DO NOT want to cancel. So, now can you help me finish the job? The Guides don't plan a troubleshoot. You don't say either how to attach the log. So I am trying... I 17:21:56 Reading Track 14 of 14... LIGHTNING UK! Posted April 12, 2012 Posted April 12, 2012 It's unclear if you actually still have a problem. If this... I 18:49:06 Read Speed (Data/Audio): MAX / MAX ...is the last line in the log window (don't forget it scrolls), I need you to look at the status bar at the bottom of the main window and tell me what it says. That'll be what the program / your drive is still (stuck) doing.
Ashley1177 Posted April 12, 2012 Author Posted April 12, 2012 If there was no issue, I wouldn't have sent you a message. The last line I sent you is probably the last one on the log, I went to the end, but my computer needed to restart last night, so this morning i had nothing. I was stuck, as I said the program didn't want to close. It did, but not sure about the result, when it restarted.
LIGHTNING UK! Posted April 12, 2012 Posted April 12, 2012 It was the red 'Maybe I got it' that confused me. It looked like an edit. Your drive may have been having trouble reading that CD-RW disc - thus making it take ages to analyse the tracks and figure out the gaps between them. That would have been clear from the status bar of the main window - but of course it's too late to tell now.
