Media: Verbatim BD-R LHT type, Printable 6x speed

Writing Speed: 2x

Im including 2 screen dumps of error messages and log file.

Maybe im wrong but i feel there might be something wrong with the media since theres a "medium error" in there..? But 3 discs out of 10? Have i bought the wrong kind of discs perhaps? Im trying with a Maxell BD-RE right now, but that sure takes its time...

There's a 1.03 firmware update available here...

If 4x keeps failing (how many times have you tried to burn these discs?), try at 6x instead.

Oh and yes, there's something wrong with your drive/firmware/media combo - hence the failures.

Thanks for a fast reply LIGHTNING UK!. When ive completed the test with the Maxell BR-RE disc i'll upgrade the firmware and try with the Verbatim again. If that doesnt work i guess ill have to buy discs with another brand.

Ive just tried with 3 different Verbatim regular BD-R discs so far and those 3 are of course useless now, Do you think that experimenting with a faster speed might solve the problem? Ok, ill try that also then.

Verbatim are fine but you might be better off avoiding the cheaper 'LTH' ones and go for the standard 'HTL' ones instead.

It seems like the burning is going just fine (although slow, he he) with the Maxell BD-RE disc. I'll try to avoid the "LTH" discs in the future, thanks again LIGHTNING. The firmware update will be of course performed anyhow in about 15 minutes or so, who knows, it might solve the problem...

After updating the firmware=Problem solved alltogether. Big thanks to LIGHTNING UK! :)
