I'm not computer smart but, I do know just enough to get by. I've just recently started having problems and I've burned probably 500 of these discs now suddenly I'm getting all kinds of errors. I have no clue how to resolve the problem. Any help would be appreciated.

You've burnt 500 'MBIPG101-R05-01' at 6x (which according to the drive isn't even a supported speed - so it's probably 4x or 8x) ?

Maybe you got a bad spindle or your drive is dirty - even the latest firmware dates back to 2007 so it's quite possible.

Yeah that was a typo. I usually do them at 8x but, lately I've dropped it to 4x. Also Ive tried different discs and different files to burn. I never get passed 90% of completion and then I get a write error. I did try burning a music CD and it burned pefectly at 8x. It just wont burn DVDs all of the sudden. Im stumped. What do you recommmend I do? Thanks for your help
