i was using a usb to sata cable and found out that the power supply had blown that was the reason and now i need to buy a new one will my cd still work or not because i cancelled it?

That said, you *could* stick a paperclip in the tray eject hole and remove it manually. That's not going to help you burn again any quicker of course... you'll still need that new PSU ;)
