Having multiple burn problems

I've been encountering this problem for a few days now. I've been able to get 1 successful burn out of probably 7 failures. I've used these discs before with regularity without any problems.

 

What could be going on here?

Seeing as the latest firmware for your burner is more than 7 years old I'd say your burner has worn out and/or doesn't quite support today's discs.

 

You could try cleaning the burner with a lens cleaning disc, but it's probably cheaper to get a new one.
