I forgot to turn AnyDVD off during a burn/verification, so I'm curious how does AnyDVD affect ImgBurn during the verification? I assume that AnyDVD may mess around with some files and throw off the verification?

My disc ended up verifying correctly, but I wanted to make sure it truely did verify correctly and that AnyDVD didn't come in and cause an incorrect burn to verify correctly.

Just need some reassurance. :)

ryan,

I have AnyDVD installed on my PC and have forgotten to turn it off before burning. However, I have it so that it is disabled for my BenQ 1640; I only have it enabled for my DVD-ROM. I'm guessing that that is why although I have it on, I still get successful burns. You may want to check whether or not you had it disabled for your burner. I'm sure others will throw their comments in.

It can mess up the verify, yes. You'll know if it does because it'll fail with miscompare errors.

Normally if you have a bad burn you're more likely to get a read error durning the verify stage than you are a miscompare error.
