need Volume Label for Data BD to correctly display on Blu-ray player

could anyone please advise a simple way for a Data BD volume label to correctly display on a Blu-ray player?

 

the volume label displays correctly on computer...

 

however, when Data BD placed into Sony BDP-580 - volume label is simply 'Data BD'...

 

(disc does perform correctly in all other respects)...

 

any help would be appreciated...

Maybe it just doesn't read the volume label from the file system on data discs.

Maybe, but that would depend on the player looking for it in the first place and you knowing where to put it.
