TailS - the french fox Posted May 11, 2012 Posted May 11, 2012 Hi ! I'm doing like everyday, ripping audio cd from my collection (500+). I always do a comparison with other audio cd extractor (using EAC for extract to create cue+flac) All was fine until this audio CD : Spin Doctors - HomeBelly Groove Live. EAC extract all 10 tracks, found for the first two tracks 2 indexes that match with cd layout (two first track containing 2 different song), so here EAC cuesheet : So, I check cuesheet layout with Imgburn read mode, but indexes don't appear : How can I verify what is the good cuesheet ? With Imgburn, tested with 2 differents reader (premium and AD-7173A) Thank you !
LIGHTNING UK! Posted May 11, 2012 Posted May 11, 2012 ImgBurn only scans for pregaps / index 0. I don't know how or where an Index 2 would ever be used. There's no way to just jump to them and players always start at Track 1, Index 1 and play straight through.
TailS - the french fox Posted May 12, 2012 Author Posted May 12, 2012 (edited) Okay, it's true there is very few audio including indexes other than 0 and 1. I've got another sampler cd that have indexes, but because last track (99) have 3 fxs/samples. Any chance to have imgburn reporting thoses indexes in future version, even if it's useless ? Another question, did imgburn burn audio cds with indexes 2 ? (I didn't try to burn multi indexes cuesheet for now) Thank you anyway for your reply ! Edited May 12, 2012 by TailS - the french fox
LIGHTNING UK! Posted May 12, 2012 Posted May 12, 2012 Yeah, it should burn them ok - although obviously I haven't tested this! I've actually ordered a copy of that CD to take a look at it.
