rabramson Posted May 26, 2012 Posted May 26, 2012 1. I was creating a windows XP –sp3 disk. I made a bootable disk with ImgBurn. During the process the log box at the bottom which tells you what steps are happening gave me this message: W 03:28:12 Failed to Read Sectors 0 - 31 - Reason: No Seek Complete When the program was finished it played music and said job complete. DO I need to do something about the error message, and if so what do I need to do? 2. ImgBurn wanted the volume label I do not know what that is but it made one for me, In the future how do I create a volume label (what is it)? The Program isssssssss awesome. Can I send you any money? Thanks again for making such a great program
LIGHTNING UK! Posted May 26, 2012 Posted May 26, 2012 Doh, I just finished replying to your email! --- copy + paste --- 1. I really need to see the full log rather than just 1 line of it. I assume that error popped up during the verify phase and basically it means the disc couldn’t be read. That isn’t a good sign! 2. The volume label is the name of the disc that gets displayed in ‘My Computer’ / ‘Explorer’. You can edit what ImgBurn suggests and change it to whatever you want it to be on the window that pops up (when you haven’t already configured one on the ‘Labels’ tab). If you want to make a donation, look in the ‘Help’ menu within the program (or check the main website at http://www.imgburn.com/ )
