Imgburn just stop burning

Recommended Posts

For the past 3 months, my imgburn was working fine burning games at 100%. Now it just stops during the burning process; either at 3%, 32%, 57% it just stops and freeze up. I know some people already had this problem but I can't find the thread; so can someone please tell me what's going on?

P.S. I use Verbatim DL

burn at 2.4x

disc drive is flash correctly >:p

The program isn't stopping, your system is.

Post the log (as much as you get) so we can see what's going on.

We'll also need to see your filter driver list (look in the tools menu) and your device's 'Family Tree' (right click the drive selection box).

Ah, a USB connection... all I can suggest is that you check the Renesas controller is running the latest firmware and that you have the latest drivers installed for it.

http://www.station-drivers.com/page/renesas.htm

If you check the iHAS124 thread in the 'Drives' forum you should see that I had more luck (better quality burns) burning MKM-001 at 4x having enabled the 'Overspeed' option in the drive's eeprom settings. It might be worth giving that a go once you've solved the 'hang' issue.
