"invalid or unsupported image file" when attempting to write disk image

Hi, I'm trying to use Imgburn to write an OpenVMS files-11 disk image to CD, but I keep getting the error message:

"invalid or unsupported image file"

I've tried named the file image.iso, and image.img, but it makes no difference. Is there a way to just write the image raw in Imgburn, or do I have to use something like CDRWin?

Here's the (completely irrelevant) log: :-)

Are you trying to burn it with the intention of backing it up?

The .ISO file extension will work for raw files but they need to be a multiple of 2048 bytes in size.

Aha! Thanks for the quick reply.

I'll pad it up to a multiple of 2048 and give it another shot.

I had (what I thought) was a thorough look at the documentation and don't recall seeing that info - maybe it would be a good idea to change the the error message to something like:

"invalid or unsupported image file - raw images must be a named .iso and be a multiple of 2048 bytes"

Thanks again!
