I just figured out a few days ago ImgBurn will create cue sheets! Hooray! However when I try to add an audio file I get this error. Other files are added without problems. The mp3s were created with EAC and Lame, if that helps. Thanks...

I can only assume there's something 'off' with that MP3.

I will try it here if you email it to me (address is in the 'About' box under the 'Help' menu).

Thanks, but there is no need as I transferred the folder containing the mp3s to an older computer and it created and burned the cue sheet without a hitch. Could it be something I have installed? BD Rebuilder? Roxio Easy Media? Thanks...

That's kinda what I was going to check.... it all comes down to the DirectShow filters being used on your machine.

Once you've added the file into the Create CUE File window, right click on it in the list and select 'Display DirectShow Filter List'. You should be able to press CTRL+C (copy) on the box that pops up and then CTRL+V (paste) that info into a reply here on the forum.

i.e.

---------------------------

ImgBurn

---------------------------

File Name:

c:\blahblah.mp3

DirectShow Filter List:

1. -> Source (Vendor Info: Unknown)

2. -> MPEG-I Stream Splitter (Vendor Info: Unknown)

3. -> MP3 Decoder DMO (Vendor Info: Unknown)

4. -> Sample Grabber (Vendor Info: Unknown)

5. -> Null Renderer (Vendor Info: Unknown)

---------------------------

OK

Ok, no doubt it's the Sonic stuff that's messing up.

You could remove those filters or change their 'merit' to a lower value so they aren't pulled into the graph so readily.

There are tools available for that job if you Google it - i.e. InstalledCodec and DirectShow Filters Manager

I uninstalled that pesky Roxio crap and all is well! It was Easy Media Creator I wanted to get rid of anyway. The only thing I used it for was burning audio CDs. Thanks a bunch!!!!!

Me again! I was trying to create a cue sheet from a flac file and got the error pictured below. I have madflac installed and it's merit set to preferred. What else could cause this error?
