mmalves Posted June 22, 2012 Posted June 22, 2012 That burner is old and probably developed a fault, which is why it doesn't even read burned discs. You should consider buying a new burner: not only they're cheap but they'll also burn your DVDs faster.
huddles99 Posted June 22, 2012 Author Posted June 22, 2012 developed a fault??? can it be fixed then?
mmalves Posted June 22, 2012 Posted June 22, 2012 In older drives it's usually a mechanical fault due to worn off parts that isn't worth fixing as it would probably cost more than new a burner and you'd still have an old burner that doesn't support most of the media of the current market.
huddles99 Posted June 22, 2012 Author Posted June 22, 2012 well i wasnt having any problem and was burnin discs untillast night but now it wont even read cd-r's which i weird cause i never had a drive that wasnt at least able to read cds .... thanks for your help guess i got no choice
