The burning wont start

I'm having the problem with that the burning never starts. And I've burned over 200 films from the Cds I have so they can't be the problem. And the anyoing thing is that every time I get stuck on imgburn I have to restart my computer to be able to open my CD-ROM.....So what is the problem?

Please post the log from that burn, or if you don't have it anymore, the log of the last burn you did (you can find previous logs in ImgBurn's Help menu).

And yes, I have cheap discs. But I have burned over 200 movies and never had a problem with it. Dunno why it starts failing now.

Your drive is old and may not support very well the new media.

 

The latest firmware for your drive may improve things. http://www.firmwarehq.com/Optiarc/AD-7170S/files.html

 

Try other speeds available.

 

Cleaning the lens may also help.

Should be good media. Are they packed in Verbatim AZO label?
