Cynthia Posted July 7, 2012 Posted July 7, 2012 The installed firmware in the burner has no support for that media code/disc id. I 21:17:13 Destination Media Type: DVD-R (Disc ID: RITEKF1) Try with some more common like Verbatim AZO.
davidavidavi Posted July 7, 2012 Author Posted July 7, 2012 Oh no! - does that mean its the software imgburn or the actual DVD burner itself? (Dumbo here!). Thanks
Cynthia Posted July 7, 2012 Posted July 7, 2012 It's a rather old burner so it's on the burners side. Might find another firmware that works with that media code on this page. http://liggydee.cdfreaks.com/page/en/
davidavidavi Posted July 8, 2012 Author Posted July 8, 2012 THANK YOU!!!!! i downloaded ziggy's 2.19 bt firmware, flashed my drive and it's worked a treat! Would reccommend this for anyone facing the same troubles! David
