Hope you don’t mind… I don’t want to search for the answer to this, so please forgive if this problem has been discussed before.

I'm not completely brain dead, but not a tech genius either... I would be SO grateful for help with this.

I have a VCR and some precious old family VHS tapes I want to put on DVD. I use Dazzler/Pinnacle DVD Recorder (whatever).

I put the Video_TS files in a folder on my desktop and I'm trying to use ImgBurn. I somehow got it done on the first VHS tape (don't remember how), but now I can't get it to work again.

When I get to “destination,” the only way I can get my DVD drive in that box is to switch to “image file output.” But then the image below doesn’t go to color from gray so I can click on it and get it going.

When it does copy to the DVD, I get the data file only, NOT a video.

What am I doing wrong?

When you're in Build mode (which you'd need to be for burning a VIDEO_TS folder), you either want to create an image file or you want to burn a disc in the drive (device). Configure the 'Output' menu option accordingly.

If your burner isn't showing up in the Destination box when you've set the 'Output' to 'Device', you have a problem somewhere on your system.

Perhaps you could copy + paste everything from the Log window for me please?
