reddmann Posted July 11, 2012 Posted July 11, 2012 I've burned quite a few audio CD's with imgburn. I yesterday I created a new cue file in which I put 6 songs, all 16 bit wav files. I added cd text for disc title and performer and for each track I added cd text forperformer and title. The cd title is "Daddy,s Girl" which is also the title of the 2nd track on the cd. When I play the cd in a cd player, everything is fine except for the last track. The title of this track I'd "My Life" but it displays Daddy's Girl on the cd player for the disc and track title. What am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance.
LIGHTNING UK! Posted July 11, 2012 Posted July 11, 2012 Please open the CUE in notepad and copy+paste everything.
reddmann Posted July 11, 2012 Author Posted July 11, 2012 OK. As soon as I get home, I'll post it. Thanks.
reddmann Posted July 11, 2012 Author Posted July 11, 2012 Here's the cue file. Again, thanks in advance. LIGHTNING UK! Posted July 11, 2012 Posted July 11, 2012 Is that the exact same CUE file you burnt? It doesn't look like one you've created from scratch in ImgBurn - using the 'Create CUE File' feature... that wouldn't include the 'CDTEXTFILE' entry at the top. If that CUE came from you reading your burnt disc in Read mode, the CD-TEXT info looks fine to me. ImgBurn picked it up exactly as you said it should be.
reddmann Posted July 11, 2012 Author Posted July 11, 2012 I think that is from me reading the burnt disc. I don't understand why it says the wrong song title in the cd player. I tried it with another disc but got the same result. Instead of showing up as "My Life" on the display it says "Daddy's Girl". ???
reddmann Posted July 12, 2012 Author Posted July 12, 2012 I've tried it on a couple different cd players and my computer. Same results. Wrong track title on that last song. Any thoughts?
reddmann Posted July 12, 2012 Author Posted July 12, 2012 I'm stumped. From everything I've read, I'm doing it right in imgburn, but that last song displays wrong on the cd player. I'll keep researching.
