I've poked through the forums for a while before creating my own thread. I've been using ImgBurn to burn DVDFlick .iso files. I am using Verbatim +R Lightscribe DVDs. I wasn't having a problem, and then suddenly, I was - which is, of course, why I'm posting here :)

I'm using the discs recommended in these forums, I have also cleaned the drive, uninstalled and re-installed the driver, tried burning on boot-up with no other programs running and set the write speed to 4x for my discs (not necessarily in that order). The error has changed over time; I am adding my log with the current one so I do not get swatted with a chair.

I assume you've tried burning at 8x too?

As you've already tried cleaning the drive, you're pretty much left with trying different media (some Taiyo Yuden / Victor JVC discs perhaps).

If the drive still refuses to burn anything, consider it dead and get yourself another one.

Actually, I didn't try burning at 8x - I panicked and went straight to 4x. I will give that a shot and, if that doesn't work, I'll see about different media.

I set it to burn at 8x and got another error. Since I had another drive available, I went straight to that solution :) Well, it was a good drive and served me well... *sigh* Thanks for the help!
