LeMaze Posted July 20, 2012 Posted July 20, 2012 Hello guys. For the last few days I have been getting this problem. So, I want to burn a DVD+R DL disc (verbatim), but every time I try to do that i get and I/O error (got attached) and this log......its rly flustrating in the fact hat i just wasted 20 bucks in the last few days....Btw im burning on a laptop with a drive : HP DVD-RW AD-7586H KH04. Ive used other programs to burn stuff in the past but i decided to try this a go. Now none of them work.....and the last time I actually wrote something on a disc was like late December. Hoping for fast reply, LeMaze P.s. I ordered a new drive for my desktop LITE ON, DVD+/-RW, 24X, Sata, Black. Screen Shot: Log: I 13:53:23 ImgBurn Version 2.5.7.0 started! Cynthia Posted July 20, 2012 Posted July 20, 2012 The problem is your burner. Different write speeds might help (4x and 6x). A cleaning disc also - but as you ordered a new burner, save the cost of such a disc and just wait for the new one. P.s. I ordered a new drive for my desktop LITE ON, DVD+/-RW, 24X, Sata, Black.
LeMaze Posted July 20, 2012 Author Posted July 20, 2012 So basicly the one I ordered wont have any problems?
Cynthia Posted July 20, 2012 Posted July 20, 2012 So basicly the one I ordered wont have any problems? What model is it? A modern Lite-On burner shouldn't have any problems burning high quality media.
LeMaze Posted July 20, 2012 Author Posted July 20, 2012 (edited) I think i stated the model..... Anyways this is the one im getting: http://www.dateks.lv/cenas/24/64796_lite_on_dvd_rw_24x_sata_black.php Edited July 20, 2012 by LeMaze
