Zobator Posted August 6, 2012 Posted August 6, 2012 So I've decided that I'm going to make digital copies of all my old games whenever I start playing them again. Fable The Lost Chapters screamed for a replay so I started making .iso files for each one of them. I succesfully created .iso files for disk 2 to 4 but disk 1 appears to be a problem child. For some reason it gets stuck at around 21% (also tried Daemon Tools). The disk doesn't look like it has any scratches so I don't know what might be the problem. Maybe some kind of protection? Anyhow, I've included the log and I hope there's someone who can help me. ImgBurn.log
mmalves Posted August 6, 2012 Posted August 6, 2012 Most likely it's copy protection. Do you have another drive/computer where you could try reading that disc? Just to rule out a bad disc.
Zobator Posted August 6, 2012 Author Posted August 6, 2012 I can read the disk normally, but I really want to make an ISO file out of the disk. How should I do that?
mmalves Posted August 6, 2012 Posted August 6, 2012 ImgBurn doesn't bypass copy protections, so you'll need to use something else to copy that disc. Or maybe you could turn all those discs into one DVD? I've googled around and found a few guides specific for that game. Maybe you have a rewritable DVD that you could test it on?
Zobator Posted August 6, 2012 Author Posted August 6, 2012 I got it. I used Alcohol 120 to copy the disk. Thanks for the help.
