Mentalcase129 Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 I'm trying to burn a DVD from a folder and everytime I try I get this message. "Fix VTS Sectors Failed! Reason: VIDEO_TS.IFO is not a valid IFO file." This is a project I've previously burned to DVD several times, using IMGBurn with no trouble at all. I added a new video to play at the end using Encore and rendered a new DVD folder and now I get the error message on every attempt. I don't see any reason why this error should be happening now when it wasn't happening before. Is there a way to fix this? I found a previous post on the forum discussing this same error but with no helpful advice and it was from 2007 so I'm by now the problem can be solved. This project is time sensitive and I really need help. THANKS!
LIGHTNING UK! Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 If it's saying it's not a valid IFO file then it probably isn't a valid IFO file. (it's incomplete/corrupt etc) Open it in notepad and see if it says 'DVDVIDEO-VMG' at the start of it. Going by what you've told me about the error ImgBurn is reporting, it won't do.
