my DVDRW drive is BENQ DW1620

the firmware is the newest one B7W9

the dvd+r is this:

as i known, my dvd drive is a bad one, it used to make errors when writing

so often when the dvdr is not cooperate to it very well. i think, it

might be some reason in burning software, so i come to ImgBurn(i used nero

before).

my drive in my experience before can't burn above or below 4x, so it can

only burn successfully in 4x. i notice that in ImgBurn, there is a

function called "solid burn", i found it designed just for low speed

burning, but i can't set it to use whatever "Known" or "Unknown", here is

the screenshots:

before this burning, i used test mode for ensuring the success rate, it said "burning successfully" when test.

The latest firmware for that drive is over 7 years old, I think it doesn't support the media available on today's market, or the drive is just worn out. The best option would be to get a new burner.

On another (unrelated) note you should install SP3.
