Errors when burning

Been trying to burn files onto a dvd for several tries now. First try ended in a failed validation and 2nd and 3rd try ended with...something else. I've attached the error windows that popped up for the 2nd and 3rd try as well as the logs. Am I going to have to get a new dvd drive? Please help!

Try also 8x.

 

Try cleaning the laser with a cotton bud and some rubbing alcohol.

 

If no joy, you need a new drive.

 

It is recommended to avoid replacing the drive, better get one normal drive and put it in an external enclosure.

Any internal drives you'd rec?(I need one for a new rig anyway) I'd look in the drives section but I don't understand a thing that's posted there.
