gblss Posted September 13, 2012 Posted September 13, 2012 I have created a project that contains files and 3 sub folders. These files and sub folders are created new and may have deleted or added files every time imageburn is executed. However, the files are only loaded for burning that where located in the sub folders at the time the project was saved. Is there anyway to have imageburn automatically add or delete files that are currently present in the folders that the project looks at before the burn?
LIGHTNING UK! Posted September 21, 2012 Posted September 21, 2012 You'd probably need to use Standard Input mode for that and just add the top level folder - then all the other files/folders below it get pulled in via the 'Resurse Subdirectories' option.
gblss Posted September 21, 2012 Author Posted September 21, 2012 Thank you for your reply. This might be something to consider for a future enhancement. Maybe a option to refresh the project automatically. Thanks again.
LIGHTNING UK! Posted September 21, 2012 Posted September 21, 2012 When you're using Advanced build mode it saves the name of each source file + its destination path/name within the image. Obviously it can't do that for files that simply don't exist yet and 'refreshing' isn't an option. I've already added (in the next release) the ability to use a '*' in the project file so it adds all files/folders in a folder to the specified destination folder within the image. That might allow you to do what you're after - but will require a bit of manual editing of the project file (in notepad or whatever) on your part.
gblss Posted September 24, 2012 Author Posted September 24, 2012 Thanks sounds like a very good enhancement that would work well for us. Don't mind a little editing. Thanks.
