PhillyB Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 Hi, I am trying to move to a more modern CD duplicator for a small education company. Our products have CDs made from audio CD disc images stored as .gi files. I want to convert the .gi files to a more modern disc image format without losing quality, nd keeping track order info etc, so we can make Audio CDs on a newer CD Publisher- eg Microbards CX-1. What Audio CD disc image file format should I convert to- eg .bin? How do I convert .gi image file to .bin in IMGburn- at the moment I seem to always make a data file- producing a data CD that contains the .gi file. Thanks for help? PhillyB
ianymaty Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 Audio CDs made by ImgBurn are default .bin format. ImgBurn will not help you to convert the .gi file you have since isn't its job. Use a CD-RW to burn the images with the program that created them, than read back to a .bin file with ImgBurn. It's a lengthy process but eventualy you'll get there.
