Sh8rp Posted October 18, 2012 Posted October 18, 2012 Hi, I'm using Verbatims 2.4x DVD+R DL (The Dual Layer Ones that have AZO). It seems like Image Burn isn't burning the .iso's properly, verification always fails at 50%. I've been through a number of Verbatims and even bought a new pack thinking I just got unlucky. I'm using the default settings, so: - Burning at 2.4x, verify is checked - Perform OPC Before Write = Unchecked - BURN Proof = Checked - Calculate Optimal = Checked Here's a log for the latest backup I tried burning. ; //****************************************\\ ; ImgBurn Version 2.5.7.0 - Log ; Thursday, 18 October 2012, 18:44:32 ; \\****************************************// ; ; I 17:28:21 ImgBurn Version 2.5.7.0 started! LIGHTNING UK! Posted October 19, 2012 Posted October 19, 2012 Burning is nothing to do with the software and everything to do with the drive/firmware/media combo. Try cleaning your drive with a cleaning disc. Try discs from another spindle - perhaps get MKM-003-00 instead of MKM-001-00 (as you say you've already got a new pack of MKM-001-00).
