Power Calibration Area is Full

For the last day, I have been trying to create a DVD that I can boot my now dead laptop (that happened as I was trying to Upgrade to Windows 8).

 

I am getting this "Power Calibration Area is Full" error. See the attached log.

Update the firmware on your drive.

Try burning at 8x.

 

If it still doesn't work, buy better discs - Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden.
