Update the firmware on your drive and try again.

If it still fails, perhaps try cleaning the drive with a cleaning disc and buying some better media.

I updated the firmware, and still got the same error.

 

These are memorex DVD+RW discs, if these are "low" media, what do you recommend and where can these be bought?
